Description | Department Details Tax System Division is responsible for whole of system perspectives on tax and transfer policy development, including policy on the governance and administration of the system, the design of the tax law and the management of the government's legislative program. TSD carries out research in the field of tax and transfer economics and does whole-of-system policy analysis, including analysis of state taxes and interactions between the tax and transfer systems. It provides the Government with advice and support in relation to its response to the Australia's Future Tax System review. | |
